eFun Nextbook Next4 and Next6 practice

Believe it or not, the Tablet world has not all transformed into a honeycomb / Tegra 2 monopoly. Some manufacturers such as industry newbie eFun here, paste with ye olde Froyo and seeking to conquer a slice of the thrifty market consumer. Nextbook Next4 is a panel of 10 inches, embodying the iPad offering a resolution of 1024 x 768 and what will be a dos brushed aluminum (ours is made of plastic, but it was just a prototype display). Unfortunately, it is quite well where the similarities end, as software in this device wasn't really up to zero. It is almost stock 2.2 Android, by the looks but eFun chose to programmable keys familiar Android software, leaving only capacitive touch for the Panel. The biggest problem for us, apart from some instabilities and a random reboot was lag during navigation in menus and a load time abnormally long to get angry running bird. Performance may be a problem in spite of the 1 GHz Cortex A8 Processor inside, but will not likely price. The Next4 launches in the first quarter of the year with a prize somewhere around $350.

Brother of 7 inches, the Next6 of Nextbook, he also joined the first quarter and also avoids the Android key to a successful implementation of software. Its designed primarily for reading electronic books and has a pair of physical keys on the side to turn the pages, which did work. It has similar issues, however, to its bigger brother, but its target audience will be perhaps more forgiving of his lack of immediate responsiveness that we are. It'll be an exclusive Home Shopping Network for a week when it launches with an MSRP of $300 that will probably be discounted to $250. Hit the gallery for practical action!
