Sony and Vizio dropped already quietly word that Skype will visit their respective TV connected to internet, but Skype itself has now made full official move, one year after he offered the first demo of Skype on Panasonic VieraCast TV at CES 2010. Unfortunately, it isn't offering much more detail than Sony or Vizio and it uses "soon" and "later this year" to describe the implementation on the televisions of both companies, which leaves open a depressingly long launch window and be confusing - we know that Skype Bravias ready Sony will begin rolling out in February, but Sony has confirmed a release for the required webcam date. In addition, Skype also confirmed that he is working with Panasonic and Sony to bring some added connectivity on your TV existing with a Skype-enabled Blu - ray drive and webcam - watch for those "soon".
