NEC dual-screen Android cloud Communicator LT W practice

In the these, NEC showing off the coast of the Tablet Android articulated teasing month last, pitching it well as an excellent way for third parties to..., awesome stuff. They're kind of let the doors opened to how (or who) it will be sold, suggesting that he could be a great e-reader, a digital notebook for students, a scrapbook or imagine some devs. "cloud" part of the name "Cloud Communicator" means NEC think LT - W would be great for generic cloud services but really, this is just one tablet of Android 2.1 with WiFi, Bluetooth and optional 3 G, there is nothing special here which makes it particularly well suited to pull data out of the cloud as if by magic.

Unfortunately - cloud or otherwise - we did not come from afar with a very positive impression of this thing. Our first red flag was pen, which corresponds to with a pair of 800 x 600 screens touch resistive who seem not particularly brilliant or contrasty. Some NEC sample applications (which you can see in the video after the break) use decent installation of dual display but nothing do we blew away - and most importantly, everything seemed just a bit too choppy for Cortex-A8 core. If NEC this remix with a Tegra, two screens touch capacitive 2 and honeycomb, we might be singing a different tune... but for now, it was little more than a poorly shot messaging service.
