Audi gets on the bus LTE, wants more modular infotainment

An other automaker on the bus with 4 G? Yes, this is Audi, who has no real bus but which is the latest to announce his intentions LTE, but not exactly what it intends to do with him. Video telephony mobile SkypeHD? They wouldn't be the first. Audi has also indicated that its partnership with Elektrobit, 2009 known as e.solutions, matures. The result is a way to build an abstraction layer between the car and the hardware running an Infotainment System. Currently Audi NVIDIA Tegra 2 down but obviously that won't be heat new forever, the idea being that users might switch the units to their dealers whenever they want an overview of what is new and good. You know how you pulled the factory head unit and its big striped buttons of your journey in ' 96 threw into this Clarion unit with all the blinkenlights? Like this - but probably much more expensive.
